Opera for Darfur - Special Ticket Sale Until 11:59 PM, November 15


The Darfur Action Committee (DAC) at UCLA, in association with The Pacific Cultural Arts Foundation, presents an evening of opera and activism.

From Tuesday, November 13 until 11:59 PM, Thursday, November 15, buy three tickets and get the fourth one FREE!

Attend the DAC's Opera for Darfur and:

  • Provide supplies for refugee children
  • Support rising young opera singers

Please support rising young opera singers and at the same time, provide supplies for Darfurian refugee children.

Current voice majors from both UCLA and USC vocal programs will be amongst the featured singers at this event.

All proceeds from the concert go toward The BackPack Project.

  • The backpacks provide humanitarian and education supplies for children forced to live in the Oure Cassoni refugee camp in Eastern Chad as a result of the crisis in Darfur. The BackPack Project is a joint effort between Jewish World Watch and The International Rescue Committee.
