Among the many activites scheduled for UCLA Day, there will be an exciting lineup of provocative lectures from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm led by an all-star group of distinguished faculty and alumni who’ll cover important topics of the day. At 5:30 pm check out the lecture titled "Current Events in Foreign Policy" with speakers:

  • Gen. Wesley K. Clark (retired), Senior Fellow, UCLA Burkle Center for International Relations
  • Kal Raustiala, Professor, UCLA School of Law, and Director, UCLA Burkle Center for International Relations
  • Amy Zegart, Associate Professor, Department of Public Policy; Fellow, UCLA Burkle Center for International Relations; and Visiting Fellow, Hoover Institution, Stanford University

This panel brings together three UCLA experts on international affairs to discuss foreign policy under the Obama Administration. Will the U.S. pursue new policies toward Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and North Korea? What about Guantanamo and the war on terror? Will the Obama Administration repair relations with the United Nations, intervene to stop the genocide in Darfur, or join the International Criminal Court? Join us for a stimulating analysis of the future of American foreign policy.
