UCLA Office of Residence Life (ORL) and FORGE Film Screening of 'Invisible Children' About Ugandan Child Soldiers

The Lord's Resistance Army in northern Uganda kidnaps children and forces them to become soldiers.

FREE SCREENING- INVISIBLE CHILDREN
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9th   8PM
DE NEVE AUDITORIUM

In Northern Uganda, eighty percent of the Lord's Resistance Army, a rebel group, are children who are forced to kidnap, kill, or torture other children. These casualties are children invisible to the world's political theater. Invisible Children is a non-profit organization, founded by three student filmmakers, that has created a documentary to expose this issue. They have partnered with World Vision to raise international diplomatic concern and provide long-term relief for these terrorized children.

This film is worth your time.

MEMBERS  OF SIC, INVISIBLE CHILDREN, AND FORGE will speak after the screening.
