In addition to the forum, the NAACP and Chrysler Group Executive Behind the Lens Award will be presented to Paula Madison, President & General Manager, NBC4 (KNBC, Los Angeles) as well.
Please join the 36th NAACP Image Award nominees, educators and entertainment industry executives for a discussion on marketing and sales in film & television. Film and television play an essential role in affirming, maintaining and reflecting culture and communicating messages fostering cooperation, tolerance and respect. This diversity symposium will provide panelists and attendees with a platform to discuss issues relating to marketing minority images in film and television, and to share experiences, perspectives and ideas in the way race, ethnicity, gender and other social issues are portrayed in the media.
