Dance, Drumming, Peace with Francis and Omowale Awe

Peace workshop featuring talking drums, dance, and Yoruba history.

• Learn about the history of the talking drums and Yoruba history.
• Learn drum patterns associated with Obatala and Obatala music.
• Learn Obatala dance and how the dance relates to what the drums are sayng.

Spend an afternoon in rhythmic harmony learning healing rhythms, chants, and dances from Nigerian master drummer Francis Awe and his wife, dance instructor Omowale Awe.

Please wear white.
