Film Screening of 'The New Killing Fields'

The Darfur Action Committee presents a screening of the BBC documentary detailing the events ongoing in Darfur, Sudan. BBC reporter Hilary Andersson travels behind rebel lines to explore if Darfur is indeed the first genocide of the 21st century.

Hilary Andersson attempts to find out who the Janjaweed are and in the course of her investigation, she confronts the man who is number one on the US State Department's list of suspected Janjaweed leaders.

This excellent documentary is produced by Darren Kemp who spoke at the Darfur Action Committee event on Media and Genocide last fall.
