Benefit/Awareness Concert for Victims of Genocide in Darfur

S.H.E.L.T.E.R. Organization is holding its first benefit concert to provide awareness of and funds for the victims of genocide in Darfur, Sudan. The event will be held in Orange County and proceeds will benefit Stop Genocide Now and displaced refugees.

S.H.E.L.T.E.R. is a newly formed organization focusing on Spreading Hope, Empathy and Love To Every Race.  The members are hosting a benefit concert in Costa Mesa to assist victims of the Darfur genocide.

Organizations Stop Genocide Now and Invisible Children will also give brief presentations about the crises in Sudan and Uganda.  Tickets for this event are $20 and can be purchased online at www.shelterconcert.com.

One-half of all ticket proceeds will go to further the cause of awareness through Stop Genocide Now.  The remaining fifty-percent of the proceeds will go to directly aiding those displaced by the genocide who now live as refugees.
