Professor Robert Hill presents "Checlzzli and Challoughlczilczise: 'Ethiopian' Impostors from the Caribbean, 1910-1940."
Professor Hill is Professor of History at UCLA and the Editor-in-Chief of the Marcus Garvey and UNIA papers at UCLA. He has authored many works on the Garvey movement and racial ideologies in Africa, the West Indies and the United States.
This presentation is part of a series organized by The Caribbean Working Group. The group is sponsored by the Latin American Center, UCLA.
