The Globalization Research Center-Africa presents a talk by Jennifer Sayles as part of the HIV/AIDS Winter Lecture Series.
Jennifer Sayles, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the UCLA Division of General Internal Medicine and Health Services Research, and the UCLA Center for AIDS Research and Education. Dr. Sayles graduated from Princeton University and received her MD from The Chicago Medical School. She trained in Internal Medicine, completing her internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, and residency at UCLA Medical Center. She holds a Master's in Public Health, and completed an NIH postdoctoral fellowship in health services research at UCLA.
Dr. Sayles currently conducts several studies to identify barriers to access and adherence to HIV treatments, both in underserved minority communities in the US and in South Africa.
