A Weekend with Rev. James Lawson on February 21st - 22nd at Wilshire UMC

We are glad to announce Rev. James Lawson will be our guest speaker for our Church Birthday Banquet (SPREAD THE WORD) on Saturday February 21st in the Fellowship Hall at 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Additionally; Rev. Lawson will be our guest preacher on Sunday February 22nd for our 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.
 

Rev. Lawson is the retired pastor of Holman UMC in Los Angeles and now professor at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a leading theoretician and tactician of nonviolence within the American Civil Rights Movement.  We encourage you to explore the following websites to become more familiar with some his noble achievements:
