PRESERVING MEMORIES: HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS / ETHNIC CLEANSINGS

Program:

• Gia Aivazian, Ph.D. candidate UCLA, Librarian for Armenian and Greek, UCLA, on the Armenian Genocide.
• Jok Madut Jok, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of History, Loyola Marymount University and former fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars, on the conflict in the Sudan.
• Olga Nikolic, Ph.D. candidate in International Politics at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University College, London, on Genocide in the Balkans.
• Geoffrey Robinson, Ph.D., Professor of History and Director of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at UCLA, on East Timor and Indonesia.
• Judith Truelson, Ph.D., ISD Reference Coordinator/Head of Doheny Research Services, University of Southern California.  She served as Co-Principal Investigator for the USC Information Services Division Shoah Foundation Access Mellon Grant Project.
