De Lama Lamina, which translates roughly from Portuguese to “From Mud, a Blade,” is artist Matthew Barney’s most recent work following on the heels of his renowned Cremaster Cycle. Experience the complex tapestry of music and imagery created by Barney in collaboration with American-Brazilian musician Arto Lindsay, and inspired by Carnival celebrations in Bahia (the heart of Brazil’s African culture).
Cost: Free and open to the public; parking is available in lot 3 for $8.
