Curtis J. Austin is a professor at the The University of Southern Mississippi Center for Oral History and Cultural Heritage.  He is the  author of Up Against the Wall: Violence in the Making and Unmaking of the Black Panther Party.

Copies of Professor Austin’s book will be available for purchase after his lecture.
