Brimming with dangerous passions, ubiquitous genies, spirited proverbs, and West African village life during a time of war, Whiteman is a tale of desire, isolation, humor, and fear.
Tony D'Souza is an international award winning author who served three years in the Peace Corps in Cote d’ Ivoire and Madagascar, where he was a rural AIDS educator. Most recently, he has been in Nicaragua covering the Eric Volz trial for Outside Magazine.
He is an LA Times Seidenbaum Award Finalist and will be making appearances during the LA Times Festival of Books on April 28-29.
