As part of its Conservation Matters lecture series, The Getty Conservation Institute presents a lecture by archaeologist Dr. Susan McIntosh on Africa's Vanishing Past. Dr. McIntosh will be speaking about the vanishing archaeological record of ancient sites in Mali, Ghana, Nigeria and Niger as a result of continued looting and the steps that can be taken to stem the destruction.
