Rationale: The focus of the overall unit is Imperialism. The specific lessons will focus on the impact and leadership of the French protectorate on Morocco in order to compare it to France’s direct control in Indo-China.
Lesson Objective: Students will evaluate the information presented in lectures and readings and use this information to support their response to the following prompt, “Was the impact of French Imperialism on Morocco more positive or negative?”
