Southeast Asia expert publishes book on victims of Khmer Rouge

Feb. 20, 2014 — Michelle Caswell's new book, "Archiving the Unspeakable: Silence, Memory and the Photographic Record in Cambodia," will be published on April 1. A specialist in human rights archives, Caswell teaches in the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies. Together with UCLA Professor of History Geoffrey Robinson, Caswell organized the symposium "The Antonym of Forgetting: Global Perspectives on Human Rights Archives” held in October 2013 at UCLA.
