Sammy Yukuan Lee Scholarships for Undergraduate Students
Each year one student is selected to receive a full scholarship (fees, plus a living stipend) for four years.
No special application is required, all applicants for admission to UCLA are considered. These are merit-based scholarships, though the special financial circumstances of the finalists are considered in making the award.
These scholarships are supported by the Lee Family Foundation to commemorate the life and work of Sammy Yukuan Lee. Mr. Lee was born in 1902 and has had a long and distinguished career as an art collector and dealer. The foundation also supports the Sammy Yukuan Lee Lectures on Chinese Archaeology and Art held at UCLA each year.
