Alain G. Marsot

Political scientist and Vietnam expert taught Southeast Asian Politics at UCLA in 2006-07.

Alain G. Marsot, Professor Emeritus of Political Science at California State University, Long Beach was a Lecturer at UCLA in Fall 2006, teaching the Southeast Asian Politics course.  Prof. Marsot, who was born in Vietnam and grew up in Singapore, is the author of The Chinese Community in Vietnam under The French (1993) and "Political Islam in Asia: A Case Study," The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science (1992).
