The KSGSC will be organizing an approximately bi-weekly (1st and 3rd Tuesday 6-8pm) meeting for all students who are interested in focusing their research on Korea and Korea-related issues.  During these meetings, in addition to networking with other students, there will be presentations and discussions pertaining to professionalization, challenges to research in/on Korea, and new research in the field.  Faculty members and visitors to UCLA will sometimes join KSFSC meetings, but the Colloquium is a student project.   It will provide an ideal forum for feedback on papers in progress, preparation for academic conferences and information sharing for a future in academia.
