Doctoral students and masters students who have been working on theses or other research-related projects relevant to East Asia will attend workshops on Modern Korea, Japan, and China. They will be respectively led by three mentors Dr. Michael Robinson (Professor Emeritus of East Asian Languages and Cultures, Indiana University), Dr. Mariko Tamanoi (Professor of Anthropology, University of California, Los Angeles), and Dr. Fei Hsien Wang (Assistant Professor of History, Indiana University). The workshop aims to provide an intellectual platform for a multidisciplinary perspective for East Asian Studies.
