A video exhibition will be presented in the Art Gallery of San Diego State University from January 31 to April 21. The exhibition will consist of two video installations and three videotapes. The screening on January 31 (see below) will include other videotapes and films to be shown only on January 31.

About the Exhibition
Zooming into Focus Contemporary Chinese Video from the Haudenschild Collection is the second exhibition in a two-part series exploring the current art of China. The first exhibition, Contemporary Chinese Photography from the Haudenschild Collection, was presented at the San Diego State University Art Gallery from 25 October through 6 December 2003.
The exhibitions, organized and curated by Tina Yapelli, director of the San Diego State University Art Gallery, are accompanied by a series of educational programs and artists’ residencies, presented in partnership with the San Diego Museum of Art; the Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego; the Centro Cultural Tijuana, Mexico; the Shanghai Art Museum, China; the China Academy of Art, Hangzhou; El Colegio de la Frontera Norte, Tijuana, Mexico; and the San Diego Chinese Historical Society and Museum. In conjunction with the exhibitions, the Haudenschild Collection commissioned new works by artists Shi Yong and Yang Zhenzhong that will premiere in San Diego.
