'Korean reunification in progress', if true, would certainly be news. In order to recognize its truth, we need both to take a close look at the unique character of Korea's division and to radically revise, yet not quite distort, the notion of reunification. The lecture attempts to elucidate these points.
Note: The lecture will update and amplify an earlier version delivered under the title 'Special News, Dateline Korea: Unification Korean-Style in Progress' at a special conference of International Federation of Journalists in Seoul, which is available here.
