The Honorable Uzi Landau, Israel’s minister of national infrastructure and member of the Knesset, gave a public talk Tuesday (March 1) attended by 50 people on natural resource use in Israel and the state of affairs in the Middle East. Landau discussed Israel's efforts to increase the production of natural gas, and he urged the West to break its addiction. He expressed concern that recent disruptions in the Middle East could strengthen radical Islamic elements in countries surrounding Israel. His talk was sponsored by the Younes & Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies.
