The Burkle Center hosted Nobel Prize Laureates, diplomats, top-level military-, and government officials, academics, authors, and co-hosted two film screenings. Talks ranged from human rights and US military strategy in Southeast Asia to national security, peace negotiations in the Middle East and the global economy. Our Annual Conference commemorated the 40th anniversary and legacy of Pres. Richard Nixon’s historic visit to China.
