The Burkle Center supports cutting-edge research in the field of international relations. In addition to engaging in independent research and analysis, the Center supports the important work of others in the following ways:
Senior Fellows Program
Burkle Center Fellowships are given at the Senior Fellow level to distinguished leaders in the field of international relations and at the Fellow level to distinguished UC faculty to support research and writing for one academic year.

Faculty Research Program
In 2008, the Burkle Center funded two faculty research working groups led by UCLA faculty in support of the study and analysis of significant questions of international policy and politics.

Internship Program
Launched in Fall 2007, the Internship Program offers UCLA undergraduate and graduate students direct exposure to international relations and related disciplines. From major events and conferences to research initiatives to student-oriented outreach programs, the Burkle Center offers a variety of venues for interested and engaged students to get involved.

Dialogue Group on International Conflict
In order to better understand how culture affects conflict, the Burkle Center is launching this special initiative which will consist of 8-10 people who will meet four times during an academic quarter to explore one's experiences with intercultural conflict.
