Renowned filmmaker Ben Caldwell will discuss his film projects related to African influences in America. Scenes from his latest venture, "LA to Habana Hip Hop" will be presented.
Ben Caldwell is a filmmaker, a film professor at Cal Arts Inst., and a former UCLA student. He is presenting a lecture as part of the course on African Ethnographic Film taught by Professor David Blundell.
The event is open to the public as well as the UCLA community.
Cost: Free and open to the public; parking is available in lot 3 for $8.
