Héctor Tobar is the Mexico City Bureau Chief for the Los Angeles Times. He is also the author of the novel The Tattooed Soldier and his latest book is the non-fiction Translation Nation: Defining a New American Identity in the Spanish-Speaking United States. In 2006, Héctor Tobar was listed as one of the "100 most influential Hispanics in the United States" by Hispanic Business Magazine.
Cost: Free and open to the public.
