Fatemeh Keshavarz is an Iranian academic, writer and literary figure. She is a professor of Persian Language and Comparative Literature and chair of the Department of Asian and Near Eastern Languages and Literatures at Washington University in St. Louis. Among Keshavarz's numerous publications are Jasmine and Stars: Reading more than Lolita in Tehran (2007) and Reading Mystical Lyric: The Case of Jalal aI-Din Rumi (1998).
