Caroline Williams has graduate degrees in Middle East History from Harvard University and in Islamic Art and Architecture from the American University in Cairo. She is author of Islamic Monuments in Cairo: A Practical Guide and of the video series Cairo: 1001 Years of Islamic Art and Architecture.
