He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science, Lagos State University. He is also Vice President, African Association of Political Science (AAPS), and member of the International Governing Council of the Center for Democracy and Development (CDD), among others. His research areas include youth, democracy, social movements and popular struggles in Africa.
