
Join us for a lecture by His Excellency Francisco Santos Calderon, the current Vice President of Colombia, as he discusses "The Shared Responsibility Initiative: Cocaine's Ecocide in Columbia" - an international campaign led by the Vice President to create awareness about the social and environmental damages caused by the cultivation of coca and production of cocaine in Colombia.
Francisco Santos Calderón was elected Vice President of Colombia as the running mate for President Alvaro Uribe Vélez in 2002 and again in 2006. Vice President Santos is the head of Presidential Programs focusing on Youth and Human Rights, Transparency and Fight of Corruption and Action Against Landmines. He also leads the “Shared Responsibility Initiative”, an international campaign to create awareness about the social and environmental damages caused by the cultivation of coca and production of cocaine in Colombia.
