Lieutenant General (French Army, Ret.) Christian Delanghe graduated from the French military academy of Saint Cyr, class of 1965. During his military carrier, he also graduated from the Universities of Rennes and Reims, the US Air Defense Advance Course in Fort Bliss, the French War College, the Center for Higher Military Studies, and the National Defense University in Paris. His operational experiences include the command of the 51st Air Defense Regiment in Germany (1987-1990), the 2nd Armored Division in France (1996- 1997), and the Multinational Division South-East within the NATO Stabilization Force (SFOR) in Bosnia (1997-1998). Back in France in 1998, he created and was the first commander of the new French “Research, Doctrine and Training Command” in Paris. LTG Delanghe is the author of several articles in “Le Monde” and other French publications concerning operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and two books, Military Operations in Contact with Reality and the New Faces of War.

Major General (Ret.) Geoffrey C. Lambert received his commission in 1973 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Infantry, Ranger, and Special Forces courses as well as the Army’s Command and General Staff and War Colleges. He had numerous assignments in Special Forces and the 75th Ranger Regiment including Commanding General, U.S. Army Special Forces Command (Airborne), Fort Bragg, N.C; and Commanding General, U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center. He has extensive field experience and is well versed in doctrinal implications of counter-insurgency, counter-terror, occupation, stability, counter-drug, information, low-intensity and unconventional warfare operations. A published author, he has written one novel, The Singleton: Target Cuba, and numerous articles for professional military journals.
