A publicist by profession, Ricardo Scalamandré started his career in television in 1971 in the commercial area of TV Globo in Sao Paulo. He worked in the marketing and strategic planning departments until 1992. In 1993 he setup a specialized company in marketing and sport production. In 1998, TV Globo invited Mr. Scalamandré to lead the start up of the international channel. Currently, he directs the International Business Division.
