Dr. Armin Selbitschka will present his research on silk road archaeology and conceptions of the Beyond in early China titled “The Exchange of Prestige Goods along the Silk Road from the 2nd through the 5th Century AD.”

Armin Selbitschka is Assistant Professor of Sinology at the University of Munich. He is a part of the Academic Council and a Course Coordinator BA Sinology. He is a specialist in intercultural exchange primarily to the Yuan dynasty, Chinese art and archaeology, archaeological methods, old and ancient history of China, and historiography.
