Barbara Mann is associate professor of Jewish Literature and Simon H. Fabian Chair in Hebrew Literature, The Jewish Theological Seminary. Mann is also an editor of Prooftexts, a journal of Jewish literary history. Her areas of expertise include Israeli and Jewish literature, cultural studies, modern poetry, urban studies, literary modernism, and the fine arts. Dr. Mann is currently writing a book about conceptions of space and place in modern Jewish studies.
