A lecture by Professor Akira Kono from Osaka University.
Akira Kono is Professor of Portuguese language and Linguistics in the Research Institute for World Languages at Osaka University. He is the author of Introduction to Brazilian Portuguese (Tokyo 2001) and a number of essays on Brazilian Portuguese, dialectology, and literary linguistics. Prof. Kono will discuss the current state of Luso-Brazilian Studies in Japan.
