Andrei Codrescu is an award-winning poet, novelist, essayist, and NPR commentator. He taught literature and creative writing at Louisiana State University for 25 years before retiring in 2009. His books include The Poetry Lesson; The Posthuman Dada Guide; New Orleans, Mon Amour: Twenty Years of Writings from the City; Road Scholar: Coast to Coast Late in the Century; and Jealous Witness: Poems.
