A discussion with Pavel Khodorkovsky (Institute of Modern Russia)
Human rights groups in Russia and abroad have decried the abuses of the Kremlin under Putin. Among its victims is Mikhail Khodorkovsky, president of Yukos Oil, now imprisoned under highly suspect circumstances. His son Pavel will discuss this situation and the more general problems of human rights in contemporary Russia.
Pavel Khodorkovsky is the president of the Institute of Modern Russia, which seeks to promote development of civil society in Russia through strengthening the rule of law and relationships between Russia and other countries.
Lunch will be served.
