East Asian Visual Media at Home and Abroad

UCLA-USC Joint East Asian Studies Center Annual Faculty-Graduate Student Workshop

This meeting is the second of an annual series of workshops intended to give UCLA and USC graduate students studying East Asia an opportunity to meet and discuss a subject that matters to their broad areas of interest and study.  This year our workshop is held in conjunction with "Media and Culture in Contemporary China," jointly sponsored by the UCLA Asia Institute and USC East Asian Studies Center.

UCLA and USC faculty and graduate students from the fields of political science/IR, Asian literatures, and cinema studies will present papers which will be discussed by scholars from each other’s universities. All interested faculty and graduate students are invited to attend.
