California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI), UCLA, May 2-3 2012
The Annual Mini-Symposium of the UCLA-Peking University Joint Research Institute in Science and Engineering (JRI), now in its third year, is held alternately at UCLA or PKU campuses each year. UCLA is proud to host in 2012.
The Symposium will provide a forum for exchanging latest research results in the areas of science, engineering and medicine. The event also fosters new collaborations between UCLA and Peking University faculty members.
Topics for afternoon sessions are Innovations in Material Sciences, Innovations in Information Technology, Environment and Epidemiology, and Biological and Medical Sciences. Each session will showcase new developments from leading faculty at both universities.
The second day concludes with lab visits and discussing next steps for collaborations.
