David L. Boyd, Ph.D., L.Ac., will discuss the use of traditional Chinese medicine as an adjunct to conventional cancer treatment.

David L. Boyd is a licensed acupuncturist and is the Executive Director of the Center for Health and Healing at St. Vincent Medical Center.
Dr. Boyd will address the use of traditional Chinese medicine, in particular acupuncture, herbs, and qi gong, as an adjunct to conventional cancer treatments. Both the benefits and risks of using this medical system as part of an integrated approach to treatment will be discussed. Master Wen Mei Yu, who has taught Chinese martial arts for over 40 years, will discuss and demonstrate qi gong.
