offers a new graduate-level course:
“Principles and Methods for Teaching Mandarin Effectively” (Education 328, 3 units)
Wednesday-Friday, July 6-8 and July 13-15, 1:30-6:00 p.m.
This course is designed to prepare teachers to deliver standards-based programs in Chinese language and culture in a K-12 single subject classroom. Participants will learn to teach with authentic materials to make language, culture and content comprehensible to learners and to create real-world interpersonal and presentational communicative tasks.
