As a non-profit academic institution representing a large network of scholars and institutions in Cambodia and world-wide, the Center for Khmer Studies in Siem Reap, Cambodia operates programs such as fellowships, in-country research & training projects, and services to the scholarly community like a Library, series of publications, a website (
www.khmerstudies.org), and other activities. It is fully recognized as an American Overseas Research Center (the first one of this kind in the whole of Southeast Asia). This information session with Director Philippe Peycam, is an opportunity for faculty, students, and the broader community to become familiar with this important resource.
