USAID Tsunami Relief and Recovery Efforts in Aceh, Indonesia

Alfred Nakatsuma, a US Agency for International Development officer, is just back in the United States from working in Aceh. He will make a short presentation on the agency’s tsunami relief and recovery work there and on current needs in the region. Mr. Nakatsuma is a Southern Californian who has worked for USAID for seventeen years. He is now Chief of the Technical Services Division of USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives. In addition to his work for the US government, he’s also spent time as a Mansfield fellow studying Japanese development assistance.

Cost: Free and open to the public.
