The Chinese Response to September 11th and Afterwards
(Book to be published by the Hong Kong University Press)

Information :
Editor Simon Shen invites submissions from all disciplines for "The Chinese Response to September 11th and Afterwards," to be published by the Hong Kong University Press. The book will be a collection of essays (in either English or Chinese) on the response of China (Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, as well as overseas Chinese) towards the 9/11 Incident and the Anti-Terrorist Campaign.

Papers with topics focusing on the following fields are especially welcome:

-Post-9/11 China in the International Arena
-Post-9/11 Anti-Americanism in China
-Local Separatism in China and the Anti-Terrorist War
-Sino-American Relationship after 9/11
-Chinese Popular Culture in Response to 9/11
-China's Globalized Process after 9/11
-China, Finance, Modernization, and Terrorism
