Featured speakers of the Greater China Track of the conference included: Laura Cha, Deputy Chairman, Securities Regulatory Commission, China; George Leung, Chief Economist, Hong Kong Shanghai Bank; Po-chih Chen, Chairman, Council for Economic Planning and Development, Taiwan; K.Y. Tang, Government Economist, Hong Kong SAR; Keitaro Matsuda, Senior Vice President, Economic Research, Union Bank of California; Peter Beck, Director of Research, Korea Economic Institute of America; Dong Chul-Cho, Director of Research, Korea Development Institute.
Other speakers at the event included: Yoshi Inaba, President and CEO, Toyota; ; Perng Fai-nan, President, Central Bank of China; and Kenneth Courtis, Vice President, Goldman and Sachs for East Asia.
A generous grant from Wilbur Woo (Vice Chairman, Cathay Bank) made the Greater China Track portion of the conference possible.
