2006 Symposium on Asia in the Curriculum
This, the 5th Annual Symposium, will be hosted at UCLA on October 12-15, 2006. The symposium will address both the precollegiate and the collegiate curriculum. Go to the AIC site to learn more and to sign up for the Symposium mailing list.
AsiaStats
Statistical comparisons of Asian nations and the United States as well as detailed data on elections, demographics, and economics. In addition, the culture section offers lists of award-winning films and examines trends.

Asia Institute Programs for Teachers
AI offers a variety of workshops, some in conjunction with the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia, aimed at improving instruction on Asia. Some are intensive weekend or two-week programs and others are longer duration seminars. Some workshops offer stipends to teachers meeting seminar requirements.

Asia Documents
Important works of philosophy as well as treaties, constitutions, and other political materials are available. In addition to resources focusing on specific countries, several documents address United States or European relations with Asia.
