Andrea Segre’s documentary A Sud di Lampedusa / South of Lampedusa (Italy 2006) traces the transit route of sub-Saharan migrants from the city of Agadez to Libia, through the desert of Teneré, showing aspects of the immigration story that are not often seen. The film will be introduced by Adrian Favell, UCLA Professor of Sociology.
