FAQ:
- How long does it take to complete the application?
It takes approximately 15 minutes, assuming you have all the necessary information. Please see the Eleven Step Application.
- What is an applicant id?
This is an auto generated identification number assigned after submitting the application. The applicant will receive this id number in a confirmation email.
- How can I submit my letter of recommendation?
The faculty member whose name has been entered in the application as a writer of supporting letter will receive an auto-generated invitation email, which contains "reference number" and "applicant id". By providing these ids, the faculty member can enter the site to submit the letter of recommendation on behalf of the applicant, by typing, pasting, or attaching a document.

Can I apply for more than one fellowship?
Yes. In Step 2, you will be asked to check the fellowships you wish to apply for.

Explorer 5.0+ or Netscape 6.0+ browsers.

Our system cannot be guaranteed to handle materials that include non-Roman
characters (e.g. Chinese, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Japanese), so please transliterate
these in anything you are "pasting" in.

As our site is currently configured, you must complete your application in
one session, i.e. if you exit this session before your application
is complete all blanks you have filled in will be lost. If you are not yet
ready to submit a complete application, we encourage you to look at the
flow-chart of the entire application by
clicking here, to prepare all of your components off-line, and then to
return to the site and "paste" them in.
